Brilliant New Followup Features At MyBlogGuest

Author: Gab Goldenberg

I just logged in to my friend Ann Smarty’s My Blog Guest forum for finding guest posts and was treated to a delightful surprise: two genius new features for improving your followup.

Under a message box, within the private message area, are two checkboxes that read as follows:

  • Notify me if the recipient does not read the message more than a week.
  • Remind me to write again if the user does not answer within a week.

How helpful is that for avoiding forgetting to followup with prospects and leads?

Nicely done! For more on usability at MyBlogGuest, check out this interview I ran with Ann on the topic.

You can visit my usability category for more on the topic (and CRO) in general.

  1. Thanks for the head-ups, Gab! I think getting in touch is the most important step in guest blogging process (without the first communication, there's no post arranged), so we are working hard to scale and organize that step. I am glad our efforts have been noticed! I am also happy to see you there! How have you been? Missing Canada?

  2. Yeah, I've seen a lot of new features you've put into the site. Are you guys profitable yet? I think you've built a unique, highly valuable resource and admire your initiative and drive :D. I've been missing my family and friends, it's true. Otherwise, I'm quite happy here and have met some amazing people, including my girlfriend :D.
